Where the money actually needs to go

The U.S. spends roughly $600 million a year fighting antisemitism. Incidents hit 9,354 in 2024, the highest number ever recorded. The gap between spending and results comes down to strategy.

Traditional advocacy was built for a world where influence moved through institutions, editorial boards, and political lobbying. Narratives are no longer formed there. Shofar deploys capital into the cultural production process itself, where perception is actually shaped before it hardens into opinion.

TPS-IL Wire Service

A professional photo wire covering Israel with 400 credentialed photographers and a library of more than 100,000 images. Most international coverage of Israel relies on a handful of wire services whose archives and visual framing shape what editors reach for. TPS-IL builds an alternative supply chain so outlets have other options when they want them.

JITC Hollywood Bureau

Jews in the Culture works directly with studios and streaming platforms, advising productions at Sony, Amazon, and Netflix on how Jewish characters and stories are written and portrayed. Film and television are the primary lens through which most people encounter Jewish life. Getting inside the production process is more effective than reacting to the result after it airs.

Dare to Know / JTV

Pro-Palestinian content outnumbers pro-Israel content on TikTok by 19 to 1. Roughly a third of Gen Z say Israel should be ended or abolished. Dare to Know and JTV produce native digital content built for the platforms and formats where that generation actually spends time. We reviewed more than 95 initiatives before funding these.
